Community Guidelines - read before posting
Welcome to your Online Community! This is a place for anyone who has been affected by disability to connect with like minded people, find information and receive support.
We’re relying on you, our valued members, to keep this space a safe and enjoyable environment.
To achieve this, we ask that all members comply with the following guidelines when contributing:
Be kind, considerate and respectful. Remember that everyone has the right to feel welcomed and safe. This community is diverse, meaning that you might not always agree with all of the opinions shared. Within this community, we’re all equals regardless of our thoughts and opinions.
Share your knowledge. Sharing is caring! Don’t hold back. You never know who you might help.
Keep it relevant. Help maintain productive conversations by posting in the correct category and clearly labelling your discussion. When contributing to an existing discussion, try to stay relevant and on topic.
Report when you see something that isn’t right. We need your help to keep the community a safe space. If you see something that is in breach of the community guidelines, use the ‘report post’ button.

Swear or use offensive language.
Promote personal beliefs in a way that is disrespectful of the choices of others.
Advertise. Businesses are not permitted to use this community to promote or advertise any goods or services.
Share personal information. Be yourself, but stay anonymous. Don’t give out your address, phone number, email, or real name. Don’t use your full name in your user name.
Share conversations outside of the community. Members agree not to repeat, copy or share conversations outside of the community.
This community is moderated on a regular basis by CPA staff and volunteers. Moderators are here to facilitate conversation and support between users. They are not here to offer professional advice. If you have specific questions, moderators can escalate and have someone get in touch with you directly.
Multiple accounts and membership cancellations
Using multiple accounts in the community is not permitted and we employ a strict one account per person policy. If you are unable to access your account, please get in touch with us at [email protected] rather than creating a new account.
If you would like to cancel your membership, you can do so at any time. For help with deleting your account, contact us at [email protected]
CPA maintains the right to deactivate the accounts of any members in breach of the Community Guidelines.
